    Very true BD.

Raina I think your boyfriend knows that it bothers you but doesn't realise it hurts you.. We all have feelings and respectfully that should be noted, and words curbed.

When you get older, like really older, you are going to say " Man I am glad I had smaller boobs, I still don't have to wear a bra at my age, they aint going south how hot is that" And, actually tell your boyfriend that now

Sorry ladies, boys thingys go south too Just saying.

Good point as well CW. I'm a b cup and I get accused of having fake breasts because they are round and firm. Many of my bigger chested friends are already saggy. Small boobies unite!!!!!

And if you had B's, you'd be wishing for C's. I know you don't think you would. But you would. I bet your chest is nicely proportioned with the rest of your body. There is nothing wrong with being petite.

Not suggesting you actually start describing your past partners, but just ask him how he would feel if you did. Maybe that will make him try to see things from your perspective.

How much can a guy put in his mouth anyway?

Bring back those "Dove (brand) Beauty" commercials that were made using real women of all shapes, sizes, ages and ethnic groups. I thought the ads were clever and all of the women were attractive too!!

A Guys View. Women to me are the ones who seem to be the most hung up on breast size. , Men hung up on large breasts are shallow my wife has the most beautiful pair of 34C's and when I saw them for the first time they took my breath away. As far a I am concerned although she had breasts when I fell in love with her they had nothing to do with why I fell in love with her.

I'd chalk this is one up to male foot in mouth disorder :| But if you are a sensitive girl, you do need to tell him how what he said came across to you so he could learn to think before he speaks and not just blurt out filterless hurtful things when you least expect it. Men will tell you themsleves that they are 'wired different' and well, this is one of the ways they are 'wired' in my opinion. They say words and are only thinking about the words they are saying... they do not see how those words can be taken, nor what they can imply.

He was surely not trying to put you down or elevate his ex. He was speaking 'practically' that some skinny women do have big boobs so that no, being skinny doesn't equal small boobs every time. HOWEVER, he was not THINKING sensitively and realizing that a comment like that could be hurtful to the woman he loves who was at the time in a sensitive state and looking for reassurance.

Just talk to him, not crying, not upset... and tell him the TRUTH... that when you made the comment you did all you were hoping for was for him to say he was happy with you, not to get in a logical scientific conversation using ex-gfs as examples that your supposition was false. He will likely apppologize and perhaps next time be a bit less of a dummy.

                    PS

Over time my boyfriend realized I am a sensitive chick, with insecurity issues and has developed a way of thinking before he speaks that makes our relationship a much happier place to be lol It didn't just magically happen, I had to tell him when something he said burned me a little, and why it did, and how I took it... so he was able to see that not every random thought needed to be blurted out. And most importantly, when I say something bad about myself jokingly... that all I want him to do is tell me he loves me and to make me feel better.

Men generally don't sit and overalyze like we do so they have no idea how simple words can hurt. If you say to your guy, hey... want to go to the gym with me? He will say yes or no and move on with his day. He won't sit and stew and wonder if you think he's fat, unsexy, etc... He will think you asked him to the gym. They don't tie things together like we do, but that doesnt mean they can't learn to be sensitive to the fact that we do.

I explained to him using an example was fine, it was him using his Ex as the example when (after talking to him) he had other examples that he could've used that bothered me. He said he didnt mean anything with the example, but he now knows that I would prefer him use non-ex gf example. Just trying to get him out of this “realist “ thing. One of his exs treated him badly, this being the ex he used as an example, and I'm trying to get him out of those states of mind from when he was with her.
