i'm sorry, i'm having horrible, terrible flashbacks at the moment.

My boobs hurt SO BAD after going off Depo. Like...Wearing a bra hurt because it rubbed, not wearing one hurt because it rubbed, sleeping hurt because I sleep on my stomach. Geezz...I just had to wait it out. It lasted a monthish.

going off the depo and in pain!

I was on the depo for 2 and a half years and just recently went off it and let me tell you its not fun. I havent gotten my period back yet and im cramping all the time and my boobs hurt really bad. Iv started taking another type of birth control to help my period along but no luck yet. I dont have any advise on how to help any of the pain or anything but just wanted to let you know your not alone. The doctors should really tell you exactly what your up aginst when you go off the depo because if i would have know i was going to be in this much pain i would have never gone on it in the first place.

I went through pretty much the same thing. I was on Depo for 3 years-ish, then decided to take a break and spent a year going through . The cramps were unbearable and my period was really heavy and lasted for over a week. To make matters worse, my breasts were constantly sore and grew several sizes over the course of that year (they were already quite large). After a year of I demanded my Dr. put me back on it. I'm at a point now where my Dr. is refusing to renew my prescription, so I'm hoping there's a solution to making this a lot easier on my body this time (anybody know if there's a solution, like oral progesterone tablets or something?). I tried going off by taking the mini pill once before and it was too low dose for me - I spent an entire month moody, bloated, and swollen with a never ending period, so I'm hoping there's another solution.
