    birth control

how long does birth control stay in your system after stop taking it,been on for 3 months now .

Depends on what it is. If I remember correctly birth control pills do not protect anymore if you dont take 3 in a row. With Depo you can become fertile as soon as you miss the next dose.

If you are talking about when the hormones leave your system and side effects stop that varies too. I know it can take 3-6 months after taking the pill to feel 100 % I have heard up to 18 months for the depo. I conceived three times when I stopped taking the pill/patch within the 1st cycle. I never got my period back. When I had the Mirena removed it took until my cycles returned to normal for me to feel normal. I believe it was 5 months.

Remember once you stop using these you are fertile
