In may, i had asked my gynocologist if i could skip my period and he told me to do the 4 periods in a year. (i had been on kariva birth control pill since febuary) well acouple weeks after i skipped my period and switched the time that i take my pill, i have been spotting heavily every day. so i went back to my gynocologist and he switched my birth control to yasmin last month, which was september. i started bleeding heavily for a week (when i wasnt suppose to be on my period,) now i have been bleeding during/after intercourse, spotting every single day, last week i had pain in my ovaries. i just dont know what to do, PLEASE SOMEBODY GIVE ME ADVICE/HELP! my mood has really been affected by this.

  • years ago before i had my kids (there5,4,2) i could skip periods without any side effects but now i cant, i tried it about 6 mths ago and within a week i had really bad cramps and some bleeding so i just stopped, had my period and started the new pack a week later and have never tried it again

    • i am not trying to skip periods anymore, but all of my problems are the same. i've been back to my gynocologist alot, and everytime he just says to keep taking the birth control pills. i have an appointment tomorrow, i know what he will say though.

      • i had a similar problem after having my son 5 years ago, bleeding on and off all the time but when i went back to the doctors they changed my pill, maybe you should see a different doc that might help
