    wife on quasense

Wife of 15 years just absolutely tuned me out after some fairly typical behavior by me (grouchy, stressed) and on a trip to SC....dumped about 15 years worth of my faults on me. She said she isn't in love with me anymore...and that she is here because I'm a great dad and she doesn't want to leave them devastated.

The thing is i HAVE been stressed...tough year...mom died, business failed so been self absorbed and inwardly focused so she just reached her saturation point. She is waaay passive aggressive so she hit me on everything from not taking out the garbage to not trimming my nose hair...hard to field all the complaints.

I understand her complaints and am trying my best(she said i was doing much better) to step up and deal. Thing is the hurt is killing me...dropped 15 lbs in 3 weeks...

I lost some points the other day when i thought her behavior might be hormonal caused by her birth control...won't go there again...even though there might be something there (she was premenstrual when this started and menstrual right now) She is on something that gives her 4 periods a year.

All i can do is stay positive and hope she turns back around with my new attitude...but being a man...i want this fixed now...and the unresolved nature of it is killing me

any thoughts...does anyone on quasense have major moodiness isues?

    Experiencing effects myself

I to have been taking Quasense for over a year now and within the past few months, I've lost my grandfather and divorced after a seven year seperation. In my opinion its a combination of everything. I go through such highs and lows in a matter of minutes sometimes. I am a usually happy go lucky individual but in the back of my mind I feel the birth control may play a part. I would like to swear off the birth control however I'd have to experiance a monthly period again. It's very confusing to me. Do I sacrifice my mental health for convenience sake?

UGH - That's the same stuff as Seasonale. Which in my opinion is no better than the Depo shot. I was on Seasonale (and Depo, years ago) because hey, who wouldn't want only 4 periods a year, right? Um - no. It was like all the PMS and hormonal that I would have gone through on a monthly basis compounded and every 3 months I would go completely off the rocker at every little thing. It was so disgustingly horrible.

I stayed on it for about a year, a year too long I might add. In my opinion, we are not meant to have a period 4 x's a year. I never realized how happy having a period once a month would make me after going through all that BS.

That's exactly what you need to decide... mental health vs convenience... shouldn't be a hard decision.
