The pill and the morning after pill

I'm on the pill but we didn't use condom so i felt like i was going to get pregnant so i took the "morning after pill". Some friends told me that bth pills together are not very good.
Could someone help me with this?, i'm a bit scared that something might happen to my body.

    thankss

I'm no Doctor, but the Morning After Pill, is usually taken when you forget your pill, so it is certainly is meant to cover all angles basis.

I would suspect more than anything you throw your body out of whack, like when girls think because they forgot a pill, they take two the next day. No... Every Doctor will tell you not to take two, ever..

So, based on that scenario, just don't take a morning after pill again... Your on the pill, nothing to be frightened on and good for you to be responsible.

I am sure once is not going to affect you too much.

Thanks so much. I went to the gyn cause i didn't have my period. She said it was normal due to the amount of hormones. So for the redcord DON'T TAKE THE MORNING AFTER PILL IF YOU ARE ON THE PILL, no matter if you forgot it or what just don't. If you do you'll get lots of pimples, and a moustache just like me lol i feel like a freak

Whoa. I did the exact same thing. I was supposed to get my period today and I took the plan B about a week and a half ago... and I'm on the pill. So, when did your period come?

I can't even wrap my head around why anyone on the pill would take the morning after pill. The morning after pill is for people NOT on the pill. If you are using the pill AND condoms, you are being extra careful. You aren't going to get pregnant if you don't use both.

We hear a lot of this, women using two and three methods. I can understand, possibly, using a condom and pulling out (although not really). I don't get the pill or IUD and anything else unless it's a comdom for disease protection.

I wonder if this is due to the kind of sex Ed that people get in some areas. Teenagers are told that NOTHING works except abstinence until marriage. Often this results in the kids forgoing birth control of any kind, since if it doesn't work it must not be worth the hassle. This might be the other end: people who figure these things must be at least LITTLE effective, so they insist on using everything "to be sure".

Why Why Why? Honey - you're on the pill, you don't need to take the morning after pill. The hormones are going to throw your body out of wack.

I can understand a condom, I guess, for the STD factor, but to use another pill to back up your BC pill, NO.

The failure rate with BC pills is small. Granted, not every form of BC is perfect, they all have failure rates, but have a little faith and enjoy yourself.
