the implanon...question
Hey, i just had the implanon put in my arm about 2-3 weeks ago, was just wondering if anyone has or known anyone who has fallen pregnant on it just out of curiosity, also the day i got it put in i had unprotected sex with my partner i was on the pill before hand but didnt take it right i kept forgetting it(hence y i got the implant) so was wondering wat the chance could b that i could b pregnant...any advice would b good ta -
You should be alright...its meant to protect you from pregnancy however im not sure on its success rate. My best friend has it and she's had it for a few months and she's not pregnant but dont take my word for it see what other ladies on here have to say. Maybe take a pregnancy test to put your mind at ease -
Missing the pill, being on the inplant for 2-3 weeks, means your not really sure how long.
It take 4 weeks, with either... in-other-words, the next cycle before you can feel safe, if you get your period in "1 - 2 weeks time" your okay.
Glad you went for something you don't have to remember, but to play it safe, you really need to have him wear a condom until your next period.
