Resuming the Pill
So I've been on the Pill for years but decided to take a month off when I knew I wouldn't be getting any action but now I want to resume my birth control and haven't had a period in 6 weeks. I've heard that when you stop it can take months to have a period again so is it ok to start on the pill at any point even though it's not during or after my period? I want the contraception protection. Thanks for any input. -
I'm not sure either. Ask your doctor when you go in for the new prescription!
On another note though, it's highly advised NOT to stop-and-start birth control pills like that. I mean if it's only one month of no action, then just continue to take the pill. Otherwise you risk seriously confusing your body.Comment
