I just started the pill three days ago, and I want to know how soon it will be before you can have sex saftley. Some of my friends to wait a month before you have sex, because it takes time before the pill becomes in effect...I just want to know if this is true.

Now, I'm highly doubtful of this, but when your on the pill can drinking alcohol affect it any, or do anything to you while you're on the pill?

When I first went on the pill my doctor told me to wait 7 days before having sex, as it takes that long for it to take effect. Alcohol doesn't affect it at all, unless you're sick of course.

I became pregnant while i was on the pill.I had not been on any antibiotics and was sure i took my pill every day. My doctor told me that alcohol did affect the birth control pill.now i have a georgous little boy who i wouldnt give back 4 anything!I just thought i would share my expirance with u!
