conception after missing pills???

I'm taking a monophasic pill (Jolessa, generic of Seasonale). I recently missed 3 pills in 2 weeks. I missed my pill on: sept 30, oct 5, and oct 8. I did NOT take them, I actually threw them out before I read about "doubling up". I had unprotected sex on oct 8 (same day as i missed a pill). What are my chances of conception?

Also, my pamphlet only dicusses the chance of pregnancy if you have sex AFTER missing pills. What happens if I have sex and THEN accidently miss a pill?

I definately think I'm going to switch to a BC I don't have to remember to take everyday.

I would say your chances are slim, but you never know. I was on Seasonale for a couple of years and I'm the most irregular pill taker in the world. I always missed, never took them at the same time, etc., never got pregnant, but I'm sure it depends on the person too.

How long have you been taking them?
