Should I be scared?
My boyfriend and I went out of town for the weekend and realized after we were several hours from home that I forgot to pack my birth control pills. This was saturday morning. I figured that since we had been going through a dry spell (a couple months of no sex...him saying he doesn't know if he's attracted to me anymore and just a couple days before we had tlaked about breaking up...we went on the trip anyways because we are best friends no matter what and knew we would enjoy the trip even as friends). Well saturday night in the hotel room, we end up having sex (entirely unexpected and seemingly out of nowhere). We got home LATE sunday night...around 3am and I took both pills right away...should I be ok? I have heard that if you miss one pill and take it and the next days together you should be ok and that it's if you miss 2 that you should be careful....thoughts? -
You know it's so difficult to answer you because each of us are different due to sperm counts and the like.. as well as where you were at, ie) ovulation time or not.
It's always going to be risky "gambling" and that's what you did...
See what happens when we don't have sex for so long and the opportunity arises
I'm sure you'll be fine.
But, pull out at least next time, tell him at least if you didn't and maybe always from now on carry a condom just in-case... Then if you ever do this again you've got a few methods of protection as best as you can.
