Wow, I had no idea that the pill causes dryness! I always thought it was just me. I've never had sex while not on the pill, so who knew?

Learn something new every day. :P

Also, I would recommend talking to your doctor about it if you find it a huge problem. There are TONS of different types of birth control out there, and there's definitely one that will suit you perfectly. May I asked why you switched off Brenda if it was working so well?

      Hey Pink
The reason i switched is because Yaz was made out to be this fantastic pill that cleared your skin etc etc.....also instead of 7 days of your period yaz only has 4 thats why i changed....bad move lol

Okay, yeah, I've heard that too.

I actually have a friend that works with birth control research, and she said she would never, ever, ever go on Yaz or Alesse for reasons of inefficiency and negative side effects.

Have you talked with your doctor about switching back to Brenda?

I found after I switched brands that it took a good six months-ish for my cycle and everything to get straightened out. Hope it works faster for you. Best of luck!

So i have now switched to Estelle which is the same as Brenda theoretically but this problem is still the same.

Is it possible that Yaz has caused this to because permanent (for life even if i stop the pill)

                or

If i stop the pill everything will go back to normal??

The idea of me causing this to myself is worrying. My boyfriend has suggested i stop the pill and we use condoms but will my body go back to normal if i did that?

                Thanks!

I never even knew Yaz caused dryness until I found this forum actually! I was on it for about 2 years for horrible acne and severe PMS...and dryness was not an issue for me. I've been on one birth control or another since I was 15 (which makes it 10 years now) so who knows if i've been "dried out" any lol . If that's the case then I could only image..... :-O

If dryness is your only issue and not using birth control isn't an option for you try using some lubricant. Astroglide is awesome .
