I've been on Depo for almost a year now, and I've noticed over the past several months that I've been shedding alot more when I brush my hair than I did pre-birth control.

I am not on any other medication.

Has anyone here experienced hair loss while on the shot?

I dont remember them mentioning that as a side effect at the doctor.

I think i may have heard something along those lines but i cant be sure...is there information on the net that could tell you what the possible side effects are?

I've been on depo for 8+ years and have not lost any hair at all, not more than what was always normal for me anyway! Not sure if maybe there are different symptoms for different people, but you might want to talk to your doctor about it!

I have been on depo for years now but so far my hair is still the same. Maybe the effect is different with everybody.

The only side effect that the doctor told me about is gettin fat and increased appetite..
