    Thank You.
    Hey Summer,
I was on Yaz for 2 years at the recommendation of my dermatologist to clear up my horrible acne that nothing would clear up: including using antibiotics alone. It was a God send! Not only did my face clear up ALL of my severe PMS symptoms went away and my period went from 5 days to 2 light days. I loved it!

I did have light nausea the first week or so until my body adjusted to the new pill. But after that I had no issues with dryness or low sex drive etc...

I agree with what someone else had said...some birth control pills that are designed and geared towards women with different needs such as PMDD relief or severe acne relief should only take specialized birth control. If you don't have those hormonal imbalances taking the extra hormones in something to correct an imbalance would throw your own body off balance. If that makes ANY sense?! :-P

If you have to hormonal issues with PMS or acne etc go on a form of birth control that is solely for the purpose of preventing ovulation of fertile eggs.

I know this thread has not been written on in a while but I have a question. I'm thinking about switching to yaz to help reduce "the monthly gift", is there a big change when on yaz?
I know its a personal question but its mostly the reason I plan on switching.
