Two weeks ago, I missed three Birth Control Pills in a row (I got sick and it distracted me enough to where I forgot to take them). When I realized it, I took them the next day- but all at once. When I later researched it, I found I should have split them up a few hours apart.

Since then, we haven't had sex. We're wondering if it would be relatively safe (as in no abnormal percentages than what there usually would be) to resume our sex lives with a second form of protection.

i would wait a week at least, just to make sure it is in your system, but i'm sure someone on here has a more accurate answer for u.

It depends on the BC pill... If I missed three on mine, I took two a day for the next three days, to catch up, so to speak.

Does that info in the pill packet say to use backup for a period of time? On mine, if I missed 3, I was okay, but 4, no.

safe way.......dont do anything without protection til after your next period!
its not worth aborting an innocent childs life if its not needed.......personal experience
