    Morning After Pill - Depression

I know that the morning after pill is obviously a very large dose of hormones in one go and so is likely to affect your moods. But I am feeling literally lower than I ever have in my life. Including like father's death etc. Seriously low at the moment. Has anybody else experienced this?

Just as a note I have atually taken this pill once before about 2 years ago but it didn't really seem to take anything like the same toll on my emotions.

How long till it is gone out of my system?

Hun, drink lots of water, like we stated in your other post, try not to stress over this and let it go out of your system naturally.

It will take a few days, give it a week but each day you should be feeling better .

the pill can make you depressed, many people suffer from depression with the pill. If it dont pass, try not taking your pill for a few days and see if you feel any better. But please make sure you use condoms, and be especailly careful. My mom suffered from bad depression when she was on the pill, also when i was on the cerazette pill it gave me a lot of side effects, e,g feeling sick, feeling faint, tummy pains, dirrearea ( sorry about spellings) and also constepation. When i stopped taking my pill, i felt better within myself. If you do feel better and a bit more brighter then go go your gp or family planning and discuss with them about changing your pill. You may not of had depression before as it seems you have been through a lot since then, and im sorry to hear that, but the pill may be bringing it up so its something to be depressed about if you get what i mean? lol, i hope this helps. Hope you feel better soon x
