Am 21 and have been on the pill for EVER, I noticed about a week ago that I had a little bleeding. I'm inbetween cycles and have never bled before. I missed a day of pills around then then doubled up the next day. But other than that nothing has changed. Should I be worried? Is this normal? Should I have my mom knitting booties? HELP!

I have had that happen to me when I have doubled up on the pill. I would not start knitting booties yet. See if you miss your period and if you are really worried call your doctor.

This happens to me all of the time and is very annoying! I can't get a stronger pill to stop it because any higher hormone levels make me ill.

Doctor told me it is nothing to worry about, it is more of an annoyance than a problem. But i have been told many times (and it says in every packet that I have ever seen) that you should never double up if you miss a pill! If you do miss one, simply continue on as usual the next day, but use other birth control for 4 days after the missed pill.

yea this happened to me alot when i first started the pill- now it only happens when i forget to take a pill after a few hours-no biggie!

i also talked to a girl i work with and she said she never took the pill at the same time- and she never ended up prego- so i dont think it matters that much!
