Spotting on the pill??? HELP!
Am 21 and have been on the pill for EVER, I noticed about a week ago that I had a little bleeding. I'm inbetween cycles and have never bled before. I missed a day of pills around then then doubled up the next day. But other than that nothing has changed. Should I be worried? Is this normal? Should I have my mom knitting booties? HELP! -

I have had that happen to me when I have doubled up on the pill. I would not start knitting booties yet. See if you miss your period and if you are really worried call your doctor. -

This happens to me all of the time and is very annoying! I can't get a stronger pill to stop it because any higher hormone levels make me ill.
Doctor told me it is nothing to worry about, it is more of an annoyance than a problem. But i have been told many times (and it says in every packet that I have ever seen) that you should never double up if you miss a pill! If you do miss one, simply continue on as usual the next day, but use other birth control for 4 days after the missed pill.Comment

yea this happened to me alot when i first started the pill- now it only happens when i forget to take a pill after a few hours-no biggie!
i also talked to a girl i work with and she said she never took the pill at the same time- and she never ended up prego- so i dont think it matters that much!Comment
