where to go?
I've been thinking of going on some sort of birth control now that me and my boyfriend are serious [and I really want more protection than just a condom] but I don't know where to go. I'm 18, and I really don't want to talk to my parents because my mom would freak out at me, and our relationship is pretty fragile at the moment anyways. I really don't want to go to Planned Parenthood because I just don't feel comfortable because the one near me is right by my high school and I really just want to keep this all secret and not have anyone see me walking into Planned Parenthood [childish I know]. And also, I know you can go to a gyno, but approx. how much does a visit cost? And how much does birth control cost? I really don't have a lot of money, and only make about $200 a month from my job [I barely work because of school].
Any information would help a ton. -

You can get on a bus and go to another
Planned Parenthood centre.
I'd suit you as you'd get all the info
you need.

You really need to get to Planned Parenthood. I agree with the pp, get on a bus and go to one in a different city. Protect yourself !Comment

depending on which city you live in...
I live in canada and there are some great services for youth, like youth clinics that you can usually get the pills for free under the age of 25. If they make you pay it's at a discounted amount, like $7 per package. Any clinic you go to has to respect the confidentiality rule, so don't worry. Honestly, better safe than sorry!!
And still use protection, you are so young and you still need to stay as safe as you can...
hope this helps!Comment
