I missed two pills (thursday and fridays), so today I took two to make up for them, and will take two tomorrow. But ive also had an upset stomach today so i'm worried that not only have I had to take two today, but they may not be effective as i've had an upset stomach.

I haven't had sex in these two days that I've missed the pill, so im not worried about pregnancy.

Shall I just take two more tomorrow and carry on until the rest of the course, and just not have unprotected sex until after my next period? will that work?

Yes, take the other two tomorrow and continue on. The pill doesn't leave your body over night, the hormones are built up. I believe they generally say, you don't have to worry about having unprotected sex until you miss 4 or something, but obviously depends on the pill, so if you feel better using backup, then obviously do.

Have you read the insert to see what it says?

Yeah I did read the insert and it said to take the two to catch up, it didn't say about taking two the next day - although I've read into that and that seems to be OK. I was more worried about the fact that i missed two and also have been ill; which it obviously doesn't have under one catagory in the leaflet.
