    Curious to know

Can certain kinds of birth control make your sex drive higher??

I've been on birth control for almost 3 years and i started a new kind last Sunday.Ever since then,i've noticed a big increase in my "urges"

Typically all i hear about is how BC can decrease a woman's drive,so i'm a little confuzzled. lol

Not sure, as every women is different.
But for me, I noticed on Yaz that have no seen no difference in my sex drive.

(Of course my sex drive is really low to begin with but just saying, didn't see it go any lower.)

If it helps you then great Maybe it's the right one for you

If anything, I had sex because I was protected on the pill. HAHA. I felt more safe and 'free'. Though hoping that modern science won't fail me.

        Ooh that rhymes.

I was on one that increased my sex drive..... but ironically also made me gain weight, and feel extremely fatigued alot of the time. But yeah, after a 12 hour nap I was a monster in the sack. hehe.

I used to have little to no sex drive, then went on Tri-Cyclen and the drive went way up-probably because I know I have science to back me up like Yaz mentioned. But overtime some general stress kicked in and other things happened (has since passed) and the pill is not giving me the same sex drive as it used to which makes me believe that it was all the placebo effect. The placebo effect is just something that does not interest me, I wanted to actually believe it increased my sex drive due to the actual pill but I know the science does not support that
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

Hehe, nout wrong with a high sex drive . Just a bit of a shame when theres no one to use it with you!

My ex used birth control for other purposes, and she had a pretty high one, though I think she did naturally anyway. If your in a relationship, dont waste it!

                  Awww im sorry ItsASecret

Anon:LOL. My thing is that,i've never used my birth control for any other reasons except for my health.I have PCOS,which ofcourse is not a fun thing to have, but my bc is a requirement, sadly.I have no problems with not having someone to use my bc with, but i was recently told that bc can treat your body as if you are pregnant. So typically you wouldnt think it would have the opposite affect on me.

Yea, BC was a requirement for me too. I'm glad I was on it for awhile though before doing anything sexual with it. (Heh, my mom still thinks I'm a virgin)
