I have another appt at the gynecologist in August, but just wanted to see if anyone had a similar experience. I've been on BC for so long I don't remember if I had the same kind of symptoms when I first started the pill....

Multiple Packs of Pills=Mood swings??
I have just started doing the 3 packs of Birth Control Pills back to back with Yasmin. I love that I don't have my period for three months, but I feel incredibly bloated towards the middle of the third pack...and.... I feel like I get horrible mood swings?? I feel emotional, etc like I'm on my period well before it even starts and I don't know if that will ease up after a while or what??

STOP DOING IT! For purely mental reasons alone. I took Seasonale for a period of time, 3 months of pills, then a week off. I was a mental, emotional, basketcase. I swear, IMO, my body could not take that. Same thing happened with Depo. I was fine if I naturally went with no periods for three months, but any kind of BC that forced my body into no period for three months did a number on me mentally.
We would joke and say that my hubby should take the kids and go to a hotel for a week every three months because I was crazy. It's really like three months of PMS compounded and would explode on the third month.
IMO, a period once a month is far better than the crp that would happen once every 3 months. About a year of that nonsense, I went back to regular monthly pills and cycles. -
Thanks LB! Glad to know it's not just me... kinda sad to find out that it happens to everyone though because I was enjoying the lack of a cycle, but I'm sure I mentally would prefer a cycle every month. The thing is, I would skip one probably 2 times a year before and it never seemed to phase me, but for some reason, adding 3 more weeks and I feel like a beached well and borderline psychoticSTOP DOING IT! (mild exagerration, but most definitely do not feel like my normal self)
I think it's been over more strange for me because I never really had noteable moodswings prior to this. I guess I'll finish up the pack I'm on and go back to doing it the regular way! My body and my mind would greatly appreciate it, I'm sure!
Thanks!!If you smile when no one else is around, you really mean it.
