    Question about Birth Control??

Hello, I have a question about birth control, I am taking cryselle birth control pill and I have now been taking it for one year and six months, My partner and I have never used condoms and I am never been late taking the pill and I always worry about getting pregnant after we have sex even though I am taking the pills at the same time everyday. The best thing to do I guess is use a condom but I would just like some advice from someone who has been taking birth control for sometime to tell me not to worry I do know the pill is not 100% but i'm just a worrier and need someone to tell me or give me some advice for me not to worry. Also if and when we decided to have children how long do you have to be off the pill in order to succeed in makeing a baby??? Thank you all so much sorry its so much info.

I was on the pill for about 12 years... I never used any other form of protection while on the pill. Nothing. But you need to do what you feel comfortable with. Don't worry or stress though if you don't use a condom once in a while. "Naked" sex is amazing.

I was on the pill for almost 6 years and even when I missed pills I did not get pregnant. Some people take up to 6 months or more before their body resumes a regular hormone cycle when they get off the pill, but you can get pregnant immediately after you stop taking them, and there's no medical proof that I know of that says there's any period of infertility after quitting hormonal birth control (of course, that doesn't mean that it doesn't happen, just that I don't know any published studies).

Keep in mind that it may take up to a year to get pregnant even if you're actively trying to have a baby, so plan ahead if you want one. And relax - I don't know anyone who's actually gotten pregnant while correctly using the pill!
