    Carrying BC

    Hello,

I take my BC at night--about 9 PM. However, sometimes I'm out of the house before and after 9.

So my question is, if you know you will be out at the time you need to take your BC, how do you carry it? Do you take the whole packet or just put one pill in a container?

    Thanks!

Hello there and welcome to the forum!
I would suggest do whatever is comfortable for you and suits the situation.... personally i suggest take the whole pack because that way you're less likely to loose the individual tablet but if you're going out to a place where its possible the whole pack can fall out your bag then i would suggest take the tablet in a small container. As i said it can depend as to where you are going but i hope that helps!

      Good thoughts there HD.

But, OP,you can change the time pattern.

As you get close to your periods, change the time you take the pill to what suits, ie) 5pm and once you finish your period and start again, continue taking it at 5pm from there on.

It's not good to miss a pill, but it's stated there is no problem if you take it a bit earlier, or a bit latter, so therefore, pick a time that suits you from now on and change the time.

        Thanks for the advice!

I wasn't sure if you could change the time you take the pill or not, so that's very good to know now! Thanks a bunch!

Yea, you can change the time if it's within an hour or two of your original time if you need to. When I first was taking it, I adjusted it for a week or two taking an hour earlier each day until I found a decent time.

I usually just carry the entire pack with me because I don't want to loose them. It's not that big, and I have a little carrying case for it. Fits nicely in my purse. Up to you entirely though.

          Good luck
