So, I have been on birth control for 4 years and try to take it with in 30 min every night. Last night I took it 3 hours late on accident and then had sex with my boyfriend this morning. I'm taking Ocella which is the generic brand of yasmin and I was 5 pills into my pack. Can anyone tell me what I should do? Am I over reacting??

The window you have is roughly 3 hours, but that does not mean you should be jumping around with the times you take the pill. If you take it at 6 then try to keep up with that instead of taking it at 7 one day and 9 the next and 5 the day after. Keep it consistent. Any variation decreases the effectiveness of the pill however in your case you should be alright because you only had this one later pill.There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
