Finishing my very 1st pack of Yasmin today, when should I start the 2nd pack?

Hi, I am wondering when should I start the second pack of Yasmin, I took the first pack on the first day of my period (Sunday June 13th 2010), my last pill (the 21st pill) was taken yesterday (July 3rd).

    My questions:
Should I continue the second pack right after my first pack is finished until the day of my previous period? (ie on 13th July I go free-pills for 7 days so that I can have the same period like last month)

    or

Today I take a break (go free-pill for 7days) which means I probably will have period tomorrow. But if I do so, wouldn't it be messing up my menstrual period schedule? (FYI again, last month my period started on June 13th.)

    confused.. advice please

    Thanks!

Pretty sure the instructions on the box say to not skip any pills and to take them in a continual fashion.

I finished the first pack already (all 21 pills), now I wonder should I start the second pack now, or, I wait 7 days to start my 2nd pack...

If you have the 28 pack you should take the placebo pills otherwise you should wait the 7 days in order to get your period. If you start the brand new pack without having your period you will have the new set of hormonal pills in you which will mean no period at all.

oh okay thanks for that info! So, now I have to go pill-free for 7 days. But now I am experiencing some lil spotting. my (last month's) period usually start on the 13th every month, but it seems with the pill my period schedule is changed to be starting on the 4th now.. is that OK?
