Anyone have any better info on Plan B?

I took it 4 days ago. Now feel very bloated. Does that mean it stoppd me from getting pregnant? I just keep thinking over and over what if?? I'm worried because I think I was ovulating when I took it. If you take it before you ovulate it works by stopping ovulation. But what if you are already in ovulation mode? I also waited about 30 hours after sex before taking it.

Also wondering- what if the sperm and egg met and i was supposed to get pregnant , and then the plan b messed things up and now I'm not pregnant - I don't want to be, but I guess I'll never know.

Plan B has a very very high success rate if taken within the 72 hours of intercourse (they could have changed that number however). Chances are it worked as it was supposed to and you are not pregnant. The only way to know 100% though is to wait for a few weeks until you can take a pregnancy test, or a blood test through your doctor.

Plan B just like birth control pills will not abort a pregnancy. However it does take about 72 hours for the sperm to travel to the egg. It doesn't happen within a matter of minutes. I've had to use it twice in the past and it didn't have any side effects on me either. Basically does several things as it changes the hormone balance in your body. It prevents eggs from further releasing, prevents the sperm form penetrating already released eggs, and prevents the newly fertilized egg from attaching to the uterus. It has a very high success rate so hopefully it worked for you.

Okay. I'm not pregnant. I got my period exactly 14 days after having sex!..so now its a week or so after my period ended and now I'm spotting. it started off brown and now its red like a period, but not heavy. Is that plan b messing me up?

It doesn't stop ovulation, it stops a fertilized egg from implanting, thus making your period arrive on time. You're probably spotting from the pill, but it's not a huge deal your body will adjust within the next cycle most likely.
