2 month straight then bleed on 3rd month what to do??
Hey peeps, right my situation is i got told by my gp that if i go on the pill for 2 months straight then have a break it would ease my pains ive been getting. but i went to a rock festival last weekend which should have been my week off but obviously no one likes being on when going away so i started taking the 3rd packet of the pill. now a few days on in ive started bleeding. this happened before but i dont know what to do when my packet runs out. if i stop will i get another bleed or do i do one more month then off?? im still taking the pill now through my bleed because i dont want to mess the cycle up. im so confused as to what to do. any advice would be great

Okay, I do this too its called continuous cycling just like Seasonale. You take pack one the first three weeks then throw it out when you would usually take the placebos and start the next pack and do the same with the second pack but at the end of the third you let yourself have a period. It is very common and very normal to have some bleeding when you first do this especially if you havent taken BC for a long time, I have taken BC for over 7 years and I usually dont spot because my body is used to this. Once you have a regualr 3 month on one week off for 2 periods you shouldnt spot. If you are bleeding like the amount of a period or more you should talk to your GP or Gynocologist. Hope this helps
