Soo my right nipple started hurting for the past 2 days. It hurts when I squeeze it or touch the tip of it. I'm kindof scared bcuz it's never hurt before. I'm 24 years old, and I just quit using NuvaRing hormone birth control about 3 weeks ago, after having been on it for over 3 years. I don't know if painful nipples is a side effect or what.
I guess I'm just wondering... has anyone else has had this happen after quitting hormone birth control?

It could be a possible side effect... I wouldn't be too worried about it, though. If it persists, you could go and talk to a doctor about it. That's strange that it's only one nipple hurting, though. Just monitor it, and I'm sure it'll be fine.

I thought it was weird also, but now both nipples are sore. I looked around online and i do see that hormones can cause sore or sensitive nipples. Hopefully it passes... I feel like I'm going thru puberty all over again!
