Skipped period for 2 months, and now spotting on birth control.

    Hello everyone,
I've been on Lo-Ogestrel since July of this year. For the months of October and November I decided to skip the inactive placebo week and immediately started the next pack. Basically I decided to skip my period. For the past week there has been spotting. Is it because I haven't had my period in over 2 months or could it be something else?

This is one of the 'side effects' of skipping your inactive pills and taking active ones back to back with no break. You may spot until you have a period.

Thanks for the information. I had no idea that was the case. I shouldn't spot anymore after my period, right?

I am dealing with this right now! I already assumed the worst.
Also skipped 2 months and now I'm spotting rather heavily.
