There can always be affects on your body when taking any hormone based medication. I recommend to speak to your doctor or OBGYN about options. Taking the pill or any other birth control should be fine just assess which method would be better for you. If you do a search you will find heaps of threads on the subject -
Great advice x.st.angel
OP there are so many different birth controls to consider and your Doctor willl consider your periods, light, or heavy as to which one they would recommend..
Certainly "long" term is not good for anyone to take anything.. But if your looking short term I can't see the harm.
The other thing to consider is "freedom", no condom with your husband will feel alot more fantastic for both of you and that's worth remembering to take a pill daily

Just my PERSONAL experience with the pill and hormonal birth control...it made me really anxious and depressed. Especially after I went off of it. I will never go on it again. I am not trying to scare you out of it or anything. Some women are just fine with it...but my body didn't like it. Definitely talk to your doctor about it and get all the information about it. Never know, it might be a great option for you.Comment
