Libido and use of pill
i have been with my girlfriend for 4 months now and im noticing we are having sex less frequently. the first two months, it would be once a day, sometimes twice or even more. then it started to become once every 2 days. and now we can spend 3 consecutive days together and nothing will happen and when I do try to initiate the sex she doesnt respond and shes not in the mood. when we do end up having sex i always feel like a creep because I really need to force it. however from the start the sex has always been great. it usually lasts between 30 to 40 min, she comes once minimun, most often reaching three orgasms. But i just don't understand why the sex is becoming less frequent, im not saying we should do it everyday, but after 3 days, im just genuinely concerned. were both 21 and very much in love and mostly its the beginning of the relationship so its supposed to be daily. were not a married couple who have a career and kids. many people have suggested that it might be because shes on the pill and it decreases her libido. can anyone help me out here. -
Hey Joey,
There could be a number of reasons for this.
Yes the pill COULD be a factor....but maybe you should ask your girl how long shes been on the pill for before you assume its only that.
As you are having sex very frequently...perhaps she needs a little "closed for maintenance" time?! If this is the case you shouldnt take this personally at all, as sometimes us ladies can get tender down there after a lot of intercourse and need to re-group!
Have you asked her personally about this? I think that is what you should do first and foremost and Im sure through that communication you and your partner will get to the bottom of why your interaction has decreased.
Good luck!!

I agree with LuciaLucia that you shouldn't assume it was only the pill. However, from personal experience, when I was on the pill I noted a significant decrease in my libido. When I was taken off BC my libido took about a month and a half to kick back up to where it used to be.
I do have a question for you however, when you try to initiate sex, are you always starting in the same way? Have you tried to spice it up any? Have you asked her to initiate it when she feels the urge? Have you tried romancing her?
I wish you the best of luck with your lady love and I hope you can work it out between you two.Comment
