    about the pill. (male)

my girlfriend (21) is on the pill and she stops taking it for a week every month to get her period, are we still protected against pregnancy when it is the week off without using a condom? and the other days in between stopping the pill and getting her period? thanks.

Yes, you are protected during that week without a condom. The hormones build up in the system during those 21 days she is on it and they are not going to "disappear" over night. Besides during that time of the month, she is least likely to be ovulating anyways. You should be fine.

As long as she starts her next pack on schedule, you're protected during her pill-free week.
