I take ortho tricyclen, for about 6 months now, but took 2 months without it. This is my first month back on. I didn't even really have intercourse, but my bf pre-ejaculated in me and I worried about pregnancy. I took a pregnancy test on Sunday, and it came out negative. I should have started on Friday, but I haven't started yet and I'm getting worried because I never start late on my birth control. Does anyone know if Ortho Tricyclen can cause me not to menstruate every month?

If you don't take any BC pill regularly, it has potential to mess with your cycle for a little bit where you may be late or early. It's hard to tell if you stopped for 2 months, then go back on it. I had a scare like that myself where I didn't take it for a month but we had intercourse once. I hadn't kept track on when it was suppose to come, but thankfully it did soon enough.

If you keep a schedule, it might be somewhat easier to tell when you're suppose to have it, but keep in mind that you did stop & restart your pills so you might need to restart your schedule as well. Take another test later on, or go to a doctor if you wish just to check on possible pregnancy first.
