Chances of being pregnent on depo shot?

Well i recently got the Deop shot for the first time.
I got it on Friday morning.. Had sex saturday night, condom broke!
What are my chances of being pregnent? Should i be worried?

    Thanks in advance

Were you on your period when you got the shot? If you were then you should have been protected straight away and should be alright.

If you weren't, the shot takes 5 to 7 days to work and yes you should be worried - I'd say get the morning after pill but it's a bit late for that.

My doc told me to get it one day after my period finished, and he said that i would be protected straight away. But after doing internet searches etc im not so sure anymore!

That morning i went to get the morning after pill just to make sure, but she wouldnt give it to me and said that it works that same as the depo anyway and that i shouldnt need it.. :S

Hiya, sorry for taking so long to get back. Have you done a pregnancy test yet?

I'm not quite convinced by what either your doctor or the woman you asked for the morning after pill said but it's a bit late to worry about that now (except perhaps to consider getting a new doctor!)

If you haven't taken a test yet, please do. The sooner you find out what the deal is the sooner you will either be able to either start dealing with the problem, or put your mind at rest.
