ok so I got my mirena taken out Monday morning and started bleeding like crazy last night. How long does it last?

I used the same thing & had it removed last year. Remember going from no period to a heavy 1. It was not cool! Lasted 6 or 7 days & cramping was more noticeable. Best bet is to call the dr. if you think somethings wrong though. -
Like with stopping any birth control, it can take a while for your body to normalize. I'd give it a week at least, and if you're still bleeding very heavily for more than 7 days I'd see the doc.
Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it, I know it's annoying however.
