    Switching Birth Control Pills

I am switching birth control pills, from Ortho-Cyclen to Levlen. I have read online that you should start taking the new pills the next day after your last active pill in your old pill pack, skipping the placebo pills. I have also read that you should wait until after the placebo pill week to begin the new pills. Can anyone tell me which is the better or correct way to do this without risking pregnancy?

Your pack of Levlen should come with a leaflet that addresses this situation. I would think that you would finish up your inactive pills and then start your new pack of levlen on the same day as you would have started the new pack of your current pill, but I don't know for sure.
