Pregnancy Worries... Please Help!
Hi there. I'm a bit worried about pregnancy chances. Please help me. Here's the situation: I'm on my second month of birth control right now in the second week on the first pill of the week. I'm currently on my period right now, and I have been for the past 7 days. I had sex 2 days ago in the morning. We always make sure that he wears a condom when we have sex, so he was wearing one. He also pulls out before he ejaculates. That day, I took my birth control on time at 4:30 PM. The next day (yesterday), I went to Minnesota with my family and forgot to bring my birth control with. We arrived home at 10:45 PM. I took my birth control right away at that time. Is it likely that there are possible chances of pregnancy?
I've never missed a pill before. Please help! Thanks. x

No. If you take it the same time everyday without missing or skipping any then you are going to be at the very high protection level that the pill is designed to keep you at. Keep in mind that nothing is absolutely going to keep you from becoming pregnant if you are having sex. There is always a risk of failure however with the pill that failure rate is about 0.1-1%...so very very low. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment
