dosage too low?
I've been on sronyx for about 8 months now. I thought my body had kind of gotten used to it, but now a week before my period should start (i have one week of regular pills left) I have had a lot of brown, gooey discharge/blood. Not sure if this is supposed to be my period or not because it is somewhat heavy. I have random spurts of this brown stuff throughout the month. Could it be that the dosage in Sronyx is not enough for my body? Thanks -
It is old blood, can happen at the start of the period or after it has ended. Either way it is completely normal. Do not go about changing doses of the pill by taking more or less, if you change up how you take it you will mess up your cycle completely. There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.Comment

Maybe ask your doctor about it and see if there is a higher-dose pill he or she might recommend.
I used to take Tri-Cyclen Lo, and as it was not sufficiently controlling my negative menstrual symptoms, my doctor switched me to regular-dose Tri-Cyclen (which did the trick.) Maybe a similar fix could be available for you?
Nature gives us shapeless shapes,
Clouds and waves and flame,
But human expectation is that love remains the same,
And when it doesn’t, we point our fingers and blame.
Register|Contact Admin|Email Admin
Comment
