    No Insurance...No Pills...

    Hey All!
So I just got dropped off my parents health insurance and I have yet to find a job so I can receive my own. I currently do not have any way to get birth control pills and I have only two packs left until I need a new prescription. I am taking Ortho Tri-cyclen Lo and I do not know how to get it without paying a ridiculous amount of money to see a doctor and get a prescription! Someone please help me in finding somewhere I can get cheap and affordable birth control pills without scamming me of my money and is legitimate!

Unless you have insurance or want to pay the high prescription costs everything else will be a scam or fake pills. DO NOT buy anything from online sources, they are liars and scamming companies who do not care one bit about what thy are selling which is often something other than what it is labelled as and can land you in the hospital or fake sugar pills that do nothing. You will need to get even a basic quick job in the meantime so that you can get back on with insurance otherwise the costs will be very high.

Side note, mods keep an eye on this thread because it can turn into a spam magnet from the OP wording of "cheap and affordable birth control pills".
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.

I'm not sure where you're located geographically, but you should take a look into planned parenthoods in your area. They are in existence for this very reason. I used PP to get my birth control when I was in HS and college because I didn't have health insurance and couldn't afford the pill going through my usual doctor/pharmacy.

I have to second Planned Parenthood. You can also get BC through Wal-Mart for something like $3-$5 (I think), but you would need the prescription.

Like the above posters stated, there are definite options. Planned Parenthood is all dependent on your income. If you don't have a PP, look for a state run health office that might be in your area.
