Paraguard IUD. complications at 5 years out.

I have had the paraguard for 5 years now. I have been divorced for 1 year. I never had any break through bleeding or issues during years 1-4. Now that I have become sexually active in the past 5 months..my periods are longer than usual and I have spotting between periods. Blood varies from pale pink to bring red. I honestly think that the blood might be from the sex (having 2-4 times a week) Plus, the sex I have now is longer in time than it was when I was married..
There was a time in past 5 months that I went with out sex for 6 weeks and I didn't have any break through blood. SO my real question is.. do you think my IUD is out of place??

    open to suggestions.

Have you spoken with your doctor about this change? Honestly, I don't know a thing about the IUD, but I don't see why your doctor wouldn't have answers for you!

When last time you have checked your IUD? You should check up every month because it has many side effects.
