Depo Provera Inquiry
Ok about a year ago I was at Planned Parenthood inquiring about the Depo Shot. The doctor at that time told me that before I can be "allowed" to have the shot I need to have a bone density test done. I've used this method of BC about 5 years ago and never had to go through this. I opted not to do it so I chose another method. Anyhow, has anyone had a similar situation or can anyone tell me why this is being done now? -
Hi there
I was on the depo for around 5 months. I did go off it 6 months ago however because i became really emotional and sensitive while on it. I was never asked to have one of those tests before my first shot, but maybe its different for other countries. Im in new zealand. Personally, i wouldn't recommend the depo provera. its nasty.
