    3 periods this month already!

Ok.. I just got off of birth control around the end of august. I had my first period Sep. 3rd. It was very light and lasted only 4 days. Then on Sep. 14 the same thing happened again! It is almost like spotting! Lasting only about 4 days. Now just a coulple days ago... on the 25th of Sep., It started again! Spotting on and off.... it looks brownish with a little hint of red. Anyone have this happen to them? Is this something to worry about or do I just need some time to regulate? Any stories or advice could really help me! Thanks a bunch!

    Updates

I thought I might add some things to help someone have some ideas about what is wrong with me.

    1. Bloating after I eat or drink (looks like I am pregnant)
    2. Pains in my stomach on and off all the time
    3. Sick to my stomach after I eat and just randomly too
    4. Lower back discomfort occasionaly

Everyone that I tell my symptoms to think that I am pregnant but I keep spotting every two weeks.... went to the doctor 3 weeks ago and they dont know what is wrong... they did not do a prego test-- should they have? Is it possible with me bleeding like this? I am completly clueless and I dont want to keep running to the doctor if they cant tell me what is wrong! Please Help! Thanks!

Okay, if you're worried, definitely take a pregnancy test.

You didn't mention how long you'd been on the birth control; the longer its been, sometimes the longer it takes for your body to adjust.

The points 1-3 that you mentioned sounds like IBS or something. I have a "touchy" stomach... I get those symptoms all the time, lol! I know its not funny and a nuisance. That could be anything from lactose intolerance, to a food allergy like gluten or whey, to acid reflux, to stress, to you just eating too fast! You'd need to see a gastroenterologist.

Number 4, lower back pain, I would say may indicate your period coming, or a kidney infection or UTI.

Just to commiserate, my husband was in the hospital this August for surgery from cancer and ended up being there almost a month. I got my period, full on, twice in twenty days and then once again twenty days later. Usually I get it exactly every 26 days. My doc said it was from stress and I should regulate this cycle.

Anything stressful happening in your life besides you going off the pill? I personally do not think you're pregnant.

        Thanks

Thanks for your advice! I had been on birthcontrol for about 1 1/2 years. I got off because of the painfull periods I was having and because me and birthcontrol just didnt get along. Every one I was on I did not like. The shot, the ring, and two different types of pills. I just said forget it! I have read a lot of bad things about birthcontrol... My aunt was on birthcontrol for around 10 years and she is struggling with infertility. Whether it was the birthcontrol or not... I really dont want to risk it. Sorry about gabbing too much!

I went to a GI doctor a couple weeks ago and he didnt really know what was going on... he just ordered a blood and stool sample. Havent heard anything yet... I really hope he finds something so he can make this pain go away! My stomach is constantly hurting and I get sick almost everytime I eat...

I have tracked my "periods" or more like spotting, I have a 14 day cycle as of right now. Some period calculators cant even predict my next period because it only goes down to 21....

Hopefully it is nothing and my periods just need time to straighten out and these mysterious pains go away just as fast as they came!

Thanks so much for replying to me! I really appreciate it!
