Taking pills irregularly, should I stop BC for fear of PG?

    Hey y'all,

I have been on the pill for over 3 years, but the past two weeks I have kind of screwed it up. I was in the ER and forgot to take it, then I stayed late at work a few days later and missed it again (by missing, I mean I took it the next morning). Last weekend I also screwed it up, as I was at my boyfriend's family party. My boyfriend and I have sex 2 to 3 times when we see each other without a condom, and he has gone inside me a lot. I am now a little concerned I could be pregnant and I plan to take a test next week, a few days before my period, but in the mean time should I stop taking the pill? If I continue on it for the next week and a half and am pregnant, will it hurt the baby? While a baby would be a little inconvenient right now, it would just be a little early, as we plan to have kids in the future. Any advice is welcomed. Thanks y'all.

Women sometimes can, and do get pregnant while on BC pills. They don't know they have conceived until they miss their period. Unless you are activitively trying to conceive, you should continue taking the pills. There is no need to buy a HPT yet. Wait and see if you start when you should. If not, then get the pregnancy test.

you should always use a condom. its a lot safer and they have thin ones now to help mask the condom feeling of it.
or you just try having him go outside of you as well even though sometimes the pre cum has little babies in it

      however,
I would first start by using a home pregnancy test and then go from there.
talk to your gynecologist if it comes back positive

      also,
I would stop the pill and just not have sex with him in the mean time because if you are pregnant then you dont want to harm the baby and if your not then no worries and pick right back up with it

      hope this helps(:
