On placebo pills and no period

    Hi, all!

So, I'm going to be taking my 3rd (of four for my Gianvi BC) placebo pill today at 2.30pm... But I still haven't gotten my period! I'm stressing out and cannot remember if I normally get it right away or a few days into the placebos... Major unhappy territory over here. I really cannot afford to be pregnant and I don't think I am, but, as I'm sure you know, not getting your period right away causes some crazy paranoia...

The question is: Is this normal? Can my period still be on its way?

    Thanks!

To my knowledge all a placebo is a sugar pill.
It doesnt do anything for the preg. Nor periof. Less stress dictates the delay of ur period.
U may want to go to ur doctor for a preg. Test.
Suggestion.. :-/ hi btw :-) ashley

It usually takes 4 days for my periods to happen on normal birth control pills and on seasonique it happens the last 2 days of pills and that's it. Some people don't even get periods while on bcp. I bought pregnancy tests in bulk online so they are like $.10 each because my period used to be so random before seasonique. If you have taken your pills on time then odds are extremely low you are pregnant and it's probably just a delay before the pills wear off or stress. If you take your pills properly no egg is released so there is no way to get pregnant.

All the doctor does is run the same pregnancy tests you can buy in bulk.

All right! Thank you for responding. I looked through these earlier and was relieved to see Kira say that it takes hers a while to show... Well, I got my period just a little bit ago and I am so relieved!
