    Same time everyday?

I took my first BCP (Lo Loestrin Fe) last night. I read in the instruction booklet to take it on the first day of my period, which didn't start 'til last night around 6. So I took the pill around that time. The instructions also said to take the pill at the same time everyday. But I don't wanna take it at night. I'd decided when I got the pills last week that I wanted to take 'em around late morning or noon-ish...but since I couldn't take the first one 'til 6 yesterday evening...can I still start taking it in late morning or noon-ish? I'm so new to this, idk what to do.

You should be able to take the next dose around noon without any problems. It could make you feel a little sick because the hormone level will be a bit higher. What you want to avoid as much as possible is taking the pill several hours LATE. Since you are new to taking BC pills, keep in mind that if you are ever on antibiotics, you need to use a backup plan (condom) because other meds. can interfer with the effectiveness of BC. You should also abstain from sex or use another form of BC for the first month while taking BC.

Thanks! Okay so does each pill have a higher dose than the previous one? And yeah last night after I took it, I felt a huge wave of nauseousness. And I took it again around 7 tonight, and the last half hour or so I've been so nauseous just like last night. Hopefully that'll go away with time.
My boyfriend said he thinks we should still keep using condoms anyway, just to be extra careful. So that's probably what we'll do even after this first month is over.
And I talked to my mom tonight and she said she'd look over the instructions with me so she can try to help. But I'll just try to remember to take it around dinner time every night.

Well I originally wanted to wait 'til marriage, but I couldn't. I waited almost 21 years to start having sex, and I'm not giving it up now. It just didn't feel good to me personally to be depriving myself and my body of something so natural and that I need as a human being. And we talk about marriage all the time, yes; but we want to wait 'til we graduate college (May 2014) to actually carry that plan out 'cause we don't want anything taking our focus away from school. But we're not giving up intimacy (that I waited over 20 years to finally have). We're being as safe as possible, including 2 forms of protection and not having sex when I'm at my high fertility point in the month or when I'm ovulating. We know it's not 100% guaranteed to prevent pregnancy and we're prepared to handle the consequences that may arise from this.
And my parents love him. My mom knows that we're active and she's supportive of it. Dad doesn't know about it. Even though I'm almost 21, he'd still flip and shove the Bible down my throat, figuratively speaking. That conversation would not be pretty. Though I really don't think it's his business since I'm not a child and no longer a minor.
The instructions say that nauseousness is normal for the first few months of taking BC, but to talk to my doctor if it continues past that. I've only been taking it for 2 days, so I'll wait and see what happens.
