My 17 year old daughter has been on the pill for about a year and a half (mainly to regulate her periods but she's 17 and I'm not stupid). She missed one pill a couple of months ago and her periods have been all over the place since, even though she has stuck to her pill schedule since. I spoke to our doctor this morning, and even though she is still getting her period, he's sending her for a urine test to rule out pregnancy. Is it even possible to be pregnant when you've been on the pill and still getting your period?? Thanks everyone!!

Yes, I have a 23 year old and a 20 year old to prove it. I took my pills on time every day and never missed one. -
Oooohhhhh. Now I'm worried. She doesn't do the test till April 1st, so we'll see what comes of it. She doesn't know what her doctor is even thinking, I thought I'd let her enjoy her spring break vacation then tell her when she gets home. Or maybe I won't tell her at all, just do the test and only say anything if it comes back positive.Comment
