I've been on my bc since October and since then my anxiety has been worse than it has ever been before. Before October the last time I had an attack was years ago. Now I get them at least twice a month and many of the attacks have landed me in the er. It started to get really bad in October with no trigger. I thought maybe there was a correlation with my bc so I stopped taking it for a month. I had no symptoms of my anxiety. I just started my new pack again and I am already feeling some of the symptoms. Has anyone else experienced this or can help? Thanks.

birth control and anxiety
Hi all,

Hi alev
Sounds to me that you are on the wrong birth control, it's too high you need to be on something lower.
You have stated yourself that you stopped taking them and was OK.
You are putting chemicals into your body if they are too high your body will react.
Listen to your body and go back to your Doctor and tell him / her what you have told us and ask for something lower.
Good luck and welcome to WH.
