girlfriend thinks she has a uti so shes been taking azos for a couple of days. we had unprotected sex yesterday and i want to get plan b to be safe, but we dont know if it is safe for her to be taking both of them at the same time. so can i go and get the plan b? shes 18 turning 19 at the end of the month

The 2 should be fine to mix but you shouldn't be having sex with a uti and should have a doctor appointment. Azo doesn't cure it. It just numbs the symptoms. The bladder and urethra are still being damaged and could even pass to you. Permanent urinary tract problems can result from an untreated uti as well as the fact azo will turn your eyes and contacts yellow after awhile.Comment
