Hi,
I am new to here and to nuvaring.
I have tried really hard to insert the ring correctly but can't seem to get it in right.
Does anyone have any useful tips, please?

Inserting NuvaRing

I've been on the ring for about a year and i absolutely love it. I find that the best way of inserting the ring is while you're sitting on a toilet, I hope that works for you. If it still doesn't go in, get a dab of water based lubricant to make it easier for you.

try using a tampon aplicator.

I just kind of squat and use both hands. It's hard sometimes because it will bounce back to its ring shape before you can get it in, but if you squeeze with one hand (I use my right because I'm right handed) and help push it in with the other, it usually works pretty well. Sometimes getting the area wet a little bit helps too.

The only thing that sucks about doing it on the toilet, is that fact that if it bounces back and you lose your grip...in it goes. lol In the toilet, I mean. I actually found it was best for me to do it while standing. I would prop one leg up on something and just make sure I squeeze it firmly together in the middle and make sure I have a good grip on it. Though, sometimes it would take a few tries from the ring just not cooperating, lol. Im actually coming off of Nuvaring though after being on it 7+ months. It's finally starting to cause me problems and it really sucks because I don't want to go back to pills.
