Hello girls,
so this is what has just happened: I have been on the pill (Loette) for the past 4 years, I have never had any problem with it, never missed a period (always regular at the 3rd day of suspension) but this month I did not get my period, I have been taking it correctly as far as I know.
I have been on xmas vacation in Italy with my boyfriend and I got a flu but nothing more!
So this situation scares me a little and I am wondering if I might be pregnant, I think I will run and get a pregnancy test tomorrow but for now I would like to hear your opinion.
Has it ever happened to you? do you think there is the chance that I might be pregnant?

Did you take any antibiotics while you had the flu? They can interfere with the pill.

Also, did your Italy trip involve a big time zone change? That might have affected your pill schedule and/or cycles.

I only took paracetamol and I dont think that it interfers with the pill and no I live in Sweden so Italy and Sweden have the same time zone.
It is just weird `cause it never happened to me before!

Did you ever throw up after you took your pill, that it may not have gotten absorbed into your system when you had the flu?

No I did not throw up, but I got a vaccination (hpv vaccine) a week ago, can that maybe interfere with the pill?

I wouldn't think so. As long as you took it correctly, every day at the same time, I'd think you're not pregnant. Take a home pregnancy test to rule that out.
